A 35-year-old mechanic was pulled over by the cops in Seremban for not wearing a seat belt - an offence which he would have probably gotten away with by paying an RM300 fine.

However, the Seremban magistrate's court recently imposed an RM8,000 fine on him.

Upset that he had been pulled over, the mechanic refused to co-operate with the cop and even signed his name off as a vulgar word.

Well, for those offences, he was fined RM4,500 for refusing to co-operate and RM3,500 for the vulgar word.

If he does not pay the fines, he could end up in jail for a year.

Guess it does not pay to vent your frustrations at a cop.
