Fireman, Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim who was injured during the recent Seafield Temple incident is reported to be stable and able to interact with others.

Housing and Local Government Minister, Zuraida Kamaruddin said Muhammad Adib was still being treated at the National Heart Institute and has been showing good progress.

"Such incidents should not happen again. The people should appreciate the work our firemen are doing.

"They risk their lives to save others and what happened to Muhammad Adib is unacceptable," she said.

The fireman has also stopped using any support machines and is breathing on his own.

His condition has since been classified as critical but stable.

"We wish him all the best and pray that he completely recovers," added Zuraida.
