Four men, including former MIC vice-president, Tan Sri S. Balakrishnan were killed in an accident at KM33 of the North-South Expressway near Johor Bahru today.

Reports said the accident occurred about 12.08am.

The incident occurred when a container truck allegedly lost control and crashed into the opposite lane.

The truck then apparently rammed into the Toyota Vellfire with the seven men on board.

Four men reportedly died while three others were injured.

The driver of the lorry and a Proton which was also involved escaped unhurt.
