A foreign woman was injured following a snatch theft incident, believed to be somewhere near the Berjaya Square area in Kuala Lumpur.

The woman, accompanied by her husband was walking along a pedestrian walk when a motorcyclist who was observing her, snatched her handbag and fled.

The woman was thrown to the ground while her husband was caught totally off-guard.

In the video, she is seen rolling on the ground following the impact of the fall, while her husband runs to her aid.

The motorcyclist is seen speeding off with her handbag.

No information on the incident was available at the time.

Netizens have since voiced their concern over the increasing number of snatch theft cases in the country.

Many believe the incidents are increasing due to the rising number of foreigners in the country.
