Police nabbed two men believed to be involved in numerous break-ins and extortion cases involving foreign workers by impersonating as policemen and immigration officers, along Jalan Besar Segari - Lumut in Manjung.

Cops nabbed the two suspects, aged 23 and 30-years-old about 10am yesterday.

Initial investigations revealed the duo worked as a factory operator and shop assistant respectively.

They were believed to be active in Manjung, Kuala Kangsar, Kerian and Taiping.

They were jointly involved in about 19 cases of break-ins and extortion.

Cops also seized a Mitsubishi Pajero, two handphones, five wallets and RM1,020 in cash from the suspects.
