it's that time of year again.

Traffic flow on several major expressways today was reported moving at a slow pace following the increase in vehicle volume.

According to a PLUS Malaysia Bhd spokesman, the northbound traffic flow was congested from Rawang to Sungai Buaya, Slim River to Sungkai and Tapah to Gopeng.

"The traffic heading south is also slow moving from the Seremban rest and service (R & R) area to Seremban, Ayer Hitam to Yong Peng, Kulai to Sedenak and Skudai to Senai," he said when contacted by Bernama here.

Meanwhile, a Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) spokesman said traffic flow was reported to be slow at the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway, Gombak Toll Plaza to Genting Sempah and Lentang to Bentong.

“So far traffic flow on the East Coast Expressway 1 and  2 is smooth in both directions," he added.
