Body of missing three-year-old girl found

A three-year-old girl who was reporting missing last month was today found dead in the Gunung Raya jungle area in Langkawi.

The victim is believed to have been murdered.

Police were apparently led to the spot by a man believed to have involved in the disappearance of Nur Aisyah Aleya Abdullah about 11.30am.

It was previously reported that Nur Aisyah was went missing while in the custody of a married couple, who initially could not be found.

According to Bernama, police launched a search for a 37-year-old man and his 40-year-old wife and picked up a married couple in Ampang, Selangor, on March 5 to assist in the investigation.
