A family of 16 from Labis, Johor tested positive for Covid-19 after attending a family gathering in the Klang Valley. They include a two-year-old child. All of them who live in the same house and had visited another family member in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor between Dec 17 and Dec 25, said a Health Ministry official according to a Star report. Their 60-year-old relative also died from Covid-19 on Jan 3 in Segamat. “Contact tracing and follow ups conducted by the Health Ministry found that 16 of the senior citizen’s family members had Covid-19. “They have been quarantined while some were warded at the hospital for necessary treatments, ” the source said.
