Eleven people were killed when the factory bus they were in plunged into a monsoon drain along Jalan S8 Pekeliling, near MAS Kargo, KLIA in Sepang yesterday.

Reports said nine foreigners and a local bus driver were killed at the scene while another foreigner died while being treated at the Serdang Hospital following the incident at 11.10pm.

Police said there were a total 43 MAS Kargo contract workers on board at the time.

The bus was apparently heading to MAS Kargo from Nilai when the incident occurred.

It is believed that the driver lost control of the bus before it plunged into the drain.

The other passengers were taken to hospitals nearby, while the cause of the incident is under investigation.

Firemen took time to reach the victims as they had to cut through several parts of the wreckage.
