So, who do we blame for the tragic chemical waste incident in Sungai Kim Kim, Pasir Gudang?

Do we blame the government or was it a deliberate act of sabotage?

Whatever it was, it was a truly horrid, irresponsible act - one that has endangered the lives of innocent people, sadly, a large a number of children.

More than 3,500 people were affected by the chemical pollution and the figures keep rising.

Among those affected were school children and even infants.

All this because some contractor did not want to spend money and dispose of his chemical waste the way it should be done.

Whoever the culprit is should not be let off lightly and should be severely punished for putting so many lives at risk.

The government needs to find a solution to this as fast as possible as day by day, the number of those affected keeps rising.

Let's pray for those affected and hope the situation is resolved soon.
