We have all heard of how bags are damaged during flights and in the most recent incident, a woman, Hawila is upset following such an incident during her trip to Langkawi.

She had boarded Malaysia Airline flight MH1432 from KLIA to Langkawi earlier today and when she arrived to collect her bags, she was shocked to see her favourite bag damaged.

She said her bag was in perfect condition when she and her husband checked in at the KLIA but was damaged when she collected it in Langkawi.

"I was surprised to see the condition of my bag when I collected it.

"I approached one of the MAS staff and they told me to lodge an official complain and such.

"I don't want to make a big deal about it, but am pretty upset considering the reputable airlines MAS is," she said.

She hoped such an incident would not occur in future and that the airline staff would be more careful with the luggage.

"I have heard how others have had their bags damaged when flying, but never thought it would happen to me.

"The bag may not be worth much, but it was a gift from my mother," added Hawila.
