Many would rather stay at home during the movement control order (MCO), but not this group of motorcyclists who took to the empty streets for a hair-raising racing session.

Taking to Facebook, SJ Echo reports groups of motorcyclists taking to the empty Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP) for a rempit session in the wee hours of the morning.

According to the post, the video was taken around 1.30am along the stretch from Puchong.

Based on the video the motorcyclist can be seen making a u-turn under the flyover before whizzing off back to their original location.

According to netizens commenting on the video, this is not limited to only LDP.

“This is also happening along the KESAS Highway from the toll area until the Shah Alam Industrial exit.”

The authorities have turned a blind eye to the numerous complaints lodged, and residents are at odds as to what to do.

But seriously, if you're one of these riders who enjoy racing along highways in the dead of the night, you should take your 'talents' elsewhere. You are disrupting sleep with your loud exhausts, and mind you, some people do need to work in the morning.
