Police have appealed to anyone with information on a snatch theft incident in Batu Caves yesterday to contact them immediately.

The incident took place about 9am near the Petronas station near Giant in Taman Samudra as a woman was walking to work.

Two suspects rode up from behind and grabbed her handbag before fleeing.

The woman screamed for help, but the area was quite deserted at the time.

Fortunately, she was not injured in the incident.
