From chairs, television sets, washing machine and the likes are among items which have been thrown off the upper floors of numerous high rise flats in the country.

A boy was even killed when someone threw a chair from one of the upper floors of the Pantai Dalam flats not too long ago.

However, there does not seem to be much change following these incidents as most recently a boy suffered a deep cut to the right side of his head after being hit by a bicycle part - also thrown from an upper floor.

This time the incident occurred at the Gombak Setia low cost flats in Kuala Lumpur.

According to the boy's uncle, Muza Tarmizi, his nephew was bleeding badly and was rushed to a hospital following the incident.

"I hope whoever was responsible gets what he or she deserves," he wrote.

Fortunately this boy survived the incident, which we are sure will not be the last of it's kind.

Why people keep doing this remains a mystery, but hopefully they realise how serious their irresponsible act is and the harm it can cause others.
