Was the price exorbitant?

Recently, there was plenty of debate on social media about a popular cendol seller in Malacca charging customers RM114 for three bowls of cendol Musang King.

The same thing happened to me some time ago when my family and I decided to eat some durians in SS2, Petaling Jaya.

To us, we did not know much about this durian thing and expected it to be around RM50 at the most.

We too were shocked when we got a bill of RM100 after eating two fruits.

It was only then that we were "educated" on the different types of durian and how Musang King was always the most expensive.

Only then, did I know about XO, Sultan etc...all the while, I thought a durian was a durian!

Considering this, I guess throwing in a few pieces of Musang King into the cendol would surely make the price much higher.

What do you guys think? Was the price unreasonable?
