Please do not be so quick to draw assumptions and allege that the cops acted out of bounds.

In a recent incident in Bahau, Negeri Sembilan, people were quick to jump to the conclusion that cops had roughed up a man who indiscriminately parked his car.

Later on it was discovered that all the cops wanted to do was to prevent the man from driving as he was drunk and refused to co-operate.

The area was a strict no parking zone and the man had refused to move his car.

However, recordings of the incident soon went viral with allegations that the cops had roughed up the man and even kicked him.

Later when the man was taken to the police station, he admitted his mistake and to be fair, the cops did not detain him as they did not want him to spend Deepavali in the lock-up.

Let us not be so quick to judge the cops - there are bad hats, I admit, but not all the apples are rotten.
