Taking it a bit too far maybe?

A primary school teacher in Lebaan, near Sibu was arrested after she assaulted her headmaster, police said.

Sibu OCPD Asst Comm Saiful Bahri Abdullah said the assault happened at about 10am on Friday when the headmaster was conducting rounds and checking up on his teaching staff.

The Star qouted ACP Saiful as saying that when the headmaster walked into the 49-year-old teacher’s class, she scolded him and accused him of not trusting her.

This led to a quarell which ended in the teacher chasing the 40-year old headmaster out of the class in front of the pupils and also splashing hot water on him.

“The hot water scalded the headmaster’s left arm and the left side of his back,” said ACP Saiful. “His left calf was also injured,” he added.

The police called up the teacher who was later detained and remanded for three days.

Apparently, she had also previously attacked a former headmaster of the school but no action was taken, the daily reported.
