Datuk Lee Chong Wei says he will be lodging a police report over a sex video that has gone viral and said to feature him.

The nation's top shuttler has come out to deny that he is the man behind the video.

“It’s not me,” said Chong Wei today, as reported by the Star.

The 36-year-old badminton star is not amused by the video and now intends to lodge a police report to clear his name.

“My movie is coming up and this is some of the ways that people try to bring disrepute to my name,” said Chong Wei, who is married to former national shuttler Wong Mew Choo.

“I’ll lodge a police report. I want to clear my name and I want the police to get the culprit behind this.”

The life of the three-time Olympic Games silver medallist will be depicted in a movie Lee Chong Wei: Rise of the Legend that will be hitting the cinemas next month.

“I’m used to this. People always try to paint a negative image when you are at the top. I will not let it affect me,” he added.
