Why do the rich keep squeezing the poor?

I run a small daycare centre in Petaling Jaya and since last year, we have been struggling to survive owing to the slowing economy.

I am paying a monthly rental of RM2,500 for my place, but this year, the landlord increased the rent to RM2,800.

I pleaded with him not to increase the rental as my business was already suffering and we were barely making profits.

I am just writing in to vent out my frustrations over how insensitive people can be towards the plight of others.

He is already a rich man and owns several properties, yet he wants to squeeze a person like me, a single mother with three kids.

At times, I just feel like giving up, but have to strive on for the sake of my children.

Why is it that the rich always victimise the poor ... is there no justice for the less fortunate?
