Concerns over this year's job market

I recently read that more than 50,000 Malaysians are expected to lose their jobs this year.

This is really depressing news and already, even those with jobs are suffering to make ends meet.

I also heard that one of the reasons for this is that more foreign companies are pulling out from Malaysia and setting up base in neighbouring countries like Thailand, Indonesia and Cambodia.

Why is this happening? Why are these companies leaving Malaysia and how are all those people who will lose their jobs going to survive?

This is something the government should be focusing on as a man's bread and butter is the only issue he is concerned about.

It is pointless for the government to be harping on other issues as this does not affect a person's everyday life.

No one is bothered about how we look in the eyes of other countries or the world.

A man with a starving wife and kid at home is only interested in the welfare of this family.

It would be no surprise if the crime rate goes up as more and more people would be willing to do anything to survive and feed their families.
